Colonists of Laragor
COLONISTS is a newer project of mine, but one that's coming along quickly. I started it with the intention of writing a series of Science Fiction novellas, but Colonists has expanded into a short novel of its own. I still plan to write it as part of a series of shorter novels, so once COLONISTS is done, you can expect me to start talking about the next book in the TRIUMVIRATE series.
Colonists is a story of survival. After an alien virus began to spread across the planet, a group of benevolent aliens gave a handful of humans the chance to colonize the planet of Laragor, 5,000 light-years away. For a while, the colonists live in peace. Everything changes when some colonists discover a bunker containing the technology of an ancient and powerful alien race. With their newfound technology, a small group of humans must return to Earth in order to rescue a remnant of Earth's population. But everyone has a hidden agenda. Ambitious alien warlords and the machinations of their own people threaten to tear the colonists apart. Can the colonists succeed, or will they break under the pressure?
Rebirth of the Saint
REBIRTH is a story I've been working on for a long time now. It has seen constant revisions, as well as three entierly different versions of essentially the same story. It is a Fantasy story, with all the usual trapings of the genre. Just some good, old fashioned, epic fantasy the way I like it.
Part of Isvard's nobel elite, Kain Carver had all he could want - until he angered the Emperor. Sentenced to death, forced to flee his homeland of Isvard, and hunted by an insane wizard, Kain is forced into an uneasy friendship with the last people he would ever want to meet. With his new companions, a nearly silent dragon called Nèra, the jovial assassin Godric Albatross, and the mysterious ex-wizard Azmaveth Zondervan, Kain must find a way to evade his enemies and win back his homeland. But forces he cannot understand are steering him in their own direction, preparing Kain for the greatest conflict Calum has ever known...
Neomorphs
NEOMORPHS is a fan-fiction series I've been writing for several years now. Basically, it's a continuation of the ANIMORPHS series by K. A. Applegate, which has alwyas been a huge influence on me. Many of the originial ideas and characters I've come up with for NEOMORPHS have made their way into other works - particularly Colonists. It's an ongoing series of shorter stories (around 20K words each) that I write in my spare time. Though it often takes a back seat to my original work, I have no plans to stop writing it any time soon.
